Martial Arts

We pride ourselves on offering the most up to date teaching methods in a safe, secure and professional environment with all staff trained to the highest standards. At FMA we strive to help all members reach their individual goals, whether that is fitness, weight loss, competition or that coveted of goals, the Black Belt.

At FMA you can be assured of the highest standard if Instruction and syllabus through a modern day version of traditional martial arts. All of our variouos programmes incorporate real world age-specific self defence. Our Little Dragons for example do our 'Stranger Danger' course, our juniors do the 'Anti-Bullying' course on top of that, and our seniors receive the best personal protection training in the world today with a combination of FMA's IMPACT self defence and PDR, both of which you will find details of on this site.

For some reason you decided to look into martial arts training, that reason varies from member to member but one thing that is universal in FMA is the reasons for staying. The support and motivation from coaches and other members is unlike any other club you have ever been a part of. In FMA you have the opportunity to reach levels of fitness and skill that you never though you could before, all you need to bring is determination! We will do the rest!

Martial Arts Today

FMA to date has produced over 20 Black Belts and has certified over 10,000 secondary school students in its IMPACT Personal Protection Self Defence course, one of the most successful in the country.

Motivation is the key to any goal, if you are really motivated you can do it. the hardest part is starting, you need to try out a few classes first and see which programme suits you. And even if you dont join FMA but decide on another club, be sure to ask for credentials, insurance, qualifications, child protection policy, contact levels etc. If the instructors are not upfront about any of these then go somewhere else.
